This is a new part of the website. If you're about to graduate or are a recent graduate and would like to participate, tell me something you learned in school that you really appreciate. Include an example of something you designed in your first quarter and something you designed in your last.

1. Take responsibility for your own education. Get involved in your education and treat it for what it is: your craft.
2. Treat your teachers like mentors and professional colleagues. Your teachers are people too and they have a lot to offer you, if you just ask.
3. Start getting as much real world experience as you can as early as possible.
4. Don't ever write off a project. Think outside the box know matter how lame you think it is. It will make your graduating quarter SO much easier.
